Customer service with a twist
We admit to being pretty obsessive about customer service but here's a noteworthy twist: brilliant service FROM a customer!
We screwed up and sent a duplicate order to a customer who lives near Peterborough, about 35 miles away. They called us when the email arrived saying the plants were about to be despatched but the parcel had already left with Royal Mail. I thanked them for their honesty and said we could arrange a pick-up by Parcelforce but they insisted they would personally return the parcel to us.
Two days after leaving us the parcel was handed back to us by the customer who made a special trip to do so. A huge thank you to them. Now that's what you call Customer Service!
